The Twins - Tonya and Tasha

Tasha has had the unusual life experience of being a Twin loss Twin. Tonya, shown on the left in the photo and in this memorial gallery, is Tasha’s fraternal twin. She passed away 19 days before their 4th birthday. As a result of that loss, Tasha has faced the confusion caused by experiencing the death of a Twin at such a young age. She witnessed the grief of her parents and older sister, and experienced the ultimate long term impact when she thought she would have to live an entire lifetime without her twin.

However, Tasha has learned through the vastness of her journey that there is a connection to ALL ~ seen and unseen.  It has been through her dedication to understanding that connection that she has gained clarity about how close her twin remains despite her ‘transition to heaven’. Tasha’s willingness to share her story; and the steps she took to gain awareness about her eternal connection to Tonya, has assisted many twin souls in finding their way through their unique grief experience.

Though Tasha has developed an ability to find the blessings in all of life experiences; there was certainly a time when that was not the case. There was an era where the opinions of others shaped how she navigated the world; and where she let the less than gracious actions of others impact her effectiveness in progressing towards achieving her desired reality. A reality filled with joy!

In April of 2013, just after she turned 40, Tasha faced a life-changing experience. A slow but steady awakening that was accelerated by a diagnosis of neurofibroma and lead to a series of 3 major surgeries over 3 consecutive years to rid her body of benign masses.  Each surgery revealing more of her profound intuitive nature. As a result, Tasha has significantly improved her ability to get to the ‘heart’ of matters quickly and move through negative feelings and challenging experiences to return to a place of peace and bliss.

Tasha’s greatest desire is to encourage all souls that face significant struggles and find it challenging to rise above them.   Her intention is that by sharing her life story with the world that she will accomplish that which she has set out to do…to make this world a more loving place, one positive, uplifting, and encouraging interaction at a time. Whether it be through following her journey on her Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channel, or receiving a hug through the Journey of 1000 Healing Hugs; she believes the more positive interactions she can provide the greater her impact will be on all of humanity.
